The development of daily life skills aims at supporting disabled individuals with improving their ability to perform day-to-day activities and live as independently as possible. Australian Trinity Care aims at building confidence and autonomy, engaging with our customers to understand their challenges and assisting them in developing everyday skills.
Our highly trained and compassionate support workers will work closely with you and your caregivers to assist with daily life activities, problem-solving, social and communication skills, and managing funds. Our services are tailored to meet individual needs and improve their ability to manage logical and practical matters while being resilient to address every situations.
Our Services
At Australian Trinity Care, we offer comprehensive services for the development of life skills in people with disabilities. Our care and support services include but are not limited to assistance with:
General life skill development – Personal hygiene, travel and transportation, maintaining cleanliness at home, nutrition and meal planning, and communication
Personal and individual skill development – Social skills, interpersonal relationships, personal safety, managing emotions, etc.
Financial management skills – Our support workers will work with you to build skills and autonomy to improve your numeracy or help manage your finances.
Support with hobbies and interests – Pursuing skills in art, music, recreation and other fun activities
Assistance with understanding government services, rent, utility bills, tenancy, etc. – Support to develop skills in understanding and accessing government services like health, NDIS , employment; renting options; utility bills; tenancy.
Flexibility of Services
With us, you have the flexibility to avail of our life skill development support services at your own home or with Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short Stays.
